On the 8th of  July 2008 the Publicity Creating Company heldout an event for AMACO in IA Unian.  In this event officials, heads of  social organizations and leading experts in agriculture discussed ways of developing agricultural industry due to Ukraine's WTO membership.

On the 8th of  July 2008 the Publicity Creating Company heldout an event for AMACO in IA Unian.  In this event officials, heads of  social organizations and leading experts in agriculture discussed ways of developing agricultural industry due to Ukraine's WTO membership.

The event was attended by:
•    Valeriy P’yatnickiy, the Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
•    Vitaliy Skotsyk, the CEO of AMACO.
•    Michael Gladiy, the President of National Agricultural Chamber of Ukraine.
•    Leonid Kozachenko, the President of Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation.
Participants noted that Ukraine's accession to the WTO opens new opportunities for our country, and in agriculture particularly.
"Firstly, we have an access to world markets. Secondly, the quality of our products will improve. In order to be competitive with foreign manufacturers, Ukrainian manufacturers will be forced to improve product quality. But of course there should be comprehensive support from thegovernment in development of  infrastructure, as well as in market promotion, "- said Valeriy P’yatnytskiy.

Experts noted that it is important to change not only equipment and technology, but also a general approach to work in agricultural sector.
