On the 5th of July, 2007 representatives of local authorities, PR-specialists and Lviv large enterprises, mass media and NGOs discussed ways to strengthen the positive reputation of the city and region. The event on the subject The Role of PR in a Positive Reputation of the Region and Regional Brand Formation was organized by the local news agency Press Time and the Publicity Creating Company.


An exciting  discussion was conducted to talk about the following basic questions:
- why information policy is the Achilles' heel of the state - both central and local?
- what should be the strategy of image formation of the city, including the Euro-2012?
- how to build a dialogue of municipal authorities and local business leaders?
- why local authorities do not involve independent PR professionals to its PR-activities?
