On Аugust 2013 Publicity Creating  Сompany organized large-scale press event dedicated to the official release of a flagship smartphone Lenovo K900. Event took place in a Hyatt hotel, and was attended by 87 representatives of Ukrainian media.

The performances of authoritative  experts on trends of the world market Smart Connected Device, as well the presentation of the line of smartphones Lenovo including long-awaited flagship model K900,   caused a great interest among the mass media, - among them business, specialized and glossy magazines, as well TV-channels and news agencies.

Opening the press conference Weijian  Zhou,  Head of Lenovo Representative office in Ukraine, reminded the audience, that 5 years ago Lenovo held a press conference on the same place announced about it is upraise  on the Ukrainian market. On that time none had heard about Lenovo brand, but for today company reached the absolute leadership on PC market in Ukraine and in the world. “Up to results of Q2 2013 Lenovo is an owner of 29,2% of the Ukrainian market of PC, and it is the highest part on  market in the history of our company. Even more impressive  growth  we have demonstrated in the notebook segment: if at the end of Q2 2012 the company held 27,4% of the market, by the end of Q2 2013 – already 38,4” – said Mr. Weijian.

The next step of the company was expanding  of a product line and  entering new market segments. Head of Lenovo Ukraine noticed for journalists on a fact, that according to the latest research IDC (Q2 2013), Lenovo took the 1st place in Ukraine in a sale of tablets, occupying 19,6 of the market, which is also observed for the first time in the history of this company.

Now Lenovo intends to achieve remarkable success in the market of smartphones –  to become a leader in this segment.

The premium model smartphone K900 access to the Ukrainian market, which belongs to the category of “hero product”, became the highlight of August.

For the smartphones emergence was devoted grand concert with the participation of British singer Sophie Ellis Bextor, which took place on Kontraktova square in Kiev on the day after the press conference. The event attracted around 10,000 spectators, among them were also members of the media, in particular few TV  channels (1+1, M! and others) took an exclusive interview with the popular singer.

Thus, the events dedicated to the exit K900 smartphone on the Ukrainian market visited more than 120 journalists. Speakers and guests were pleasantly surprised by the Ukrainian media activity and a high level of organization of events.
