On April 23, 2013 a seminar-presentation “Incentive tours and quests – effective tools of PR-communications for partners, clients and colleagues” took place in “Opera Hotel”, which was organized by Publicity Creating Company.



The event was attended by HR-specialists, marketing and PR-managers of large companies. Participants of the seminar were presented a new approach to the organization of corporate trips as well as new topical routes for incentive tours along Ukraine, and in the end a fervent discussion of agency cases took place.

At the event the speakers were the leading experts in the field of internal and external PR-communications: Valery Kureiko, Director of Publicity Creating and Ruslana Plis, Managing partner of Publicity Creating, chief editor of publicity.kiev.ua.

Ruslana Plis told about a new approach to corporate events in which the PR-component had been put on the first place. This new tool has been successfully implemented by Publicity Creating and ProEvents during the elaboration and implementation of incentive tours program for medium and large companies. "Incentive tour - is no longer "food, accommodation, transfer. Today, another formula works much more effectively - «PR + Marketing + Event" - said Ruslana Plis at the seminar.

Among the novelties in the event sphere the new formats for corporate events were also presented. One of these formats is quests that have recently become, perhaps, the most popular form of corporate recreation. This sort of active team games engage literally everyone regardless of gender, age, status and activities. Quest is unique format as it “fits” for each team. For every person harbors the spirit of adventure - the desire to solve puzzles, find answers to questions, and the spirit of competition - the desire to win and be a leader. Therefore regardless of age, gender or occupation the endless search for adventures is equally pleasant for all participants of this exciting event. In addition, the quest is active rest, team play, memory training, exercises for logical thinking and quickwittedness.

The particular interest among the participants of the seminar was drawn to the incentive tours along Ukraine, which nowadays are decent and affordable alternative to incentive tours abroad. Thus, for a relatively small budget you can organize an intensive program, combining in one event business, instructive and entertaining parts. These tours may also include individual creative design – as quests and contests are often integrated into the incentive tours’ program.

During the workshop the participants learned about the most popular routes of incentive tours along Ukraine prepared by ProEvents agency. Among them one can distinguish two main areas:

Western Ukraine and the Crimea.   The most popular routes in the Western Ukraine are: - The Golden Horseshoe of Lviv region (Olesko, Zolochev, Podgorci + Lviv) - Ancient Castles of Volyn region (Koretz / Gubkov, Dubno / Ostrog, Lutsk) - Ancient Fortress of Ukraine (Medzhybizh, Kamenetz, Hotyn) As for the Crimea, in this direction the most demanded tours are: - The famous palaces of the Crimea - Wineries of the Crimea.

Valery Kureiko presented his guests a show-case from Publicity Creating ProEvents practices, confirming the experience in the incentives tours organization and the efficiency of holding of such events. The expert also answered many questions of the participants.

In the frameworks of the event, the discount certificates for 10%, 20% and 30% were raffled off among the present guests. Guests could follow the course of the event thanks to online reportage on the ProEvents corporate page on Facebook.

Guests of the seminar asked plenty of questions about the effectiveness, adaptability and costs of intensive tours. At the utmost guests were interested in the possibility of holding of incentive tours for medium-seized teams (25-50 people), the organization of such events in the short terms, quality assurance and creative element of the tours.

Judging by the feedbacks of speakers and participants, it may be stated with confidence that the event was successful, informative and productive. It is also worth noting that this seminar is one of a series of events held by Publicity Creating as part of its 15th anniversary commemoration.
